Hello Everyone!

This is the first time i'm posting so i apologize if i'm doing it in the wrong venue. Ok, so here's a summary of my case.

I met my fiancee in 2000 in Orlando but had to part the next year. Mid 2001 she left the country and went back to Philippines. Then our paths crossed again end of 2006 and fell in love with her all over again. We officially got engaged last year and we're now working on our I-129F. But we have few concerns and I'm hoping some nice people here can help us navigate through the right direction.

In Nov. 2008, she received a Notice of Approval for her I-140 (EB3) petition filed on her behalf by an american employer(a hospital in TN). She is a NICU Nurse but due to visa retrogression for Filipino Nurses until now there's still no visa for her. So we decided to wait til im ready to petition for her as my fiancee and that's where we are at right now. Will this approved I-140 petition ruin her chance of getting an approved K1? Is it alright to apply for another type of visa when you already have an approved petition of a different type?

Anybody here who knows the right answers, please enlighten me. I am worried and would really appreciate your help. Thank you so much!
