Hello. I did attach a picture of most current status for my dad's immigrant. He filed i-130 and approved (i-797 Notice of Action was received) After that, we completed Choice of Agent and Address form and submitted to NVC. However, we never received any return packet from them and we kept re-requested. What kind of form should my dad expect from them? can it be downloaded? By the way, I-797 was approved on June 15, 2009. Those time frame effect any case??? please give us some help.

Your attached jpeg is meaningless at this point. That is the USCIS timeline, and this case is finished with USCIS. The case is now at the NVC. The NVC does not give a timeline.

The important questions are; Who filed the petition for whom? It's not clear if your father is the petitioner or the beneficiary? Is the petitioner a US citizen or legal permanent resident? What is the Priority Date (when was the case filed)? Is the beneficiary married or not? What is the the beneficiary's age?

My mom is permanent resident and she is petition for my dad. I think case was filed may 2007 to USCIS, and approved on July 2009. They are married and my dad is 56 and mom is 51.

The case for your father is an F2a case. The current PD is April 1, 2007. Now that your father has filed the Choice of Agent, your mother will be getting a fee letter. Your mother will need to go online to pay the AOS (I-864) fee and IV (DS-230) fee. After 3 days, she needs to go back to that website to download the required bar coded pages and forms. The website will also contain links with instructions on how to file the forms. BEWARE, the NVC will not mail any forms to your mother. She needs to download them and follow the online instructions after paying the fees.

The NVC will send the petitioner a fee letter that contains the necessary information to logon to pay the fees. You cannot pay the fees without the information in this letter.
