Hi everybody, please I need your help!..

I am applying for my citizenship now so that I can aaply for my fiance for a K1 visa.. We have been together for 4 years now and we were planning on getting married in Ivory Coast. But with the war situation there, it is not going to happen, even if things get better.

So, I need to get my fiance here ASAP.

I just received my FP letter and wanted to know if I can at all possible do a walk-in to the philadelphia acs. Do you know if it makes a difference (From what I read, it can, but I didn't read anything from people living in Philly). Also, do you know which days are better?

I realy need things to go fast... So if it is an option, please tell me more about it so that I can try and have all the chances to succeed...

Also, do you know if I have to wait at all to send my fiance's appliaction once I am done with the oath ceremony? Do they give you the certificate at the ceremony? Can I send his application right away? (Like the day after my oath ceremony??)

Please let me know, I know it's a lot of questions, but I need it to plan things.

Thank you sooo muuuchh

I-129F Instructions say you must be a USC, they don't say you have to be a USC for a certain period of time so we can conclude you can file K-1 Visa after your Oath Ceremony. You will need a copy of your certificate of Naturalization.

Take a look at the instructions: I-129F Instructions.

About the walk in in Philadelphia, I can't help sorry. :(

Now, if you could marry her while you are permanent resident you could apply for CR1/K3 Visa, maybe it would be a faster way for you both to be together.

Wait for more answers, there's a lot of people here with much more experience on these cases. :star:

Good luck.
