Hello all. I'm a new member but have been reading posts here. VJ posts have been very informative. Our I-129F's (for K1) NOA1 was 9/23/10. It was touched in 10/3/10. Received e-mail notification that it has been approved on 3/31/11 (processed by VSC). Still waiting for NOA2 hardcopy. Does anyone have recent info on the estimated timeline between receiving NOA2, NVC processing, and the U.S. Embassy (Philippines in our case) contacting my fiancee? Also, I assume USCIS/VSC would be out of the loop once they send the package to NVC, right?

Call one week from the day you got the email. It took them 7 days to receive my case although it took them 10 to tell me they had it. Just keep calling every few days until they give it to you. NVC processing really depends, some people are out in 2 or 3 days and some are longer. You should post in the Forum for the Philippines also so that people who have dealt specifically with your embassy can give your more helpful details. Good luck with the rest of your process.

Hi! We got our approval notice on the 23rd of March and received the hard copy on the 28th. It was received by the NVC on the same day and my fiance kept calling them since then and finally was able to get our MNL case number last Thursday, the 31st. I've paid the Visa fee in BPI and pre-registered for the medical. I still have to wait 'til tomorrow though to see if USEM already got it then schedule my interview, hopefully. :)

I got the NOA2 hardcopy today (4/4/11). But what's odd is that it says that VSC sent it directly to the consulate in Manila, Philippines, and the instruction says to contact the consulate directly regarding visa issuance. Does anyone know if that means it won't go through NVC or will it go to Manila consulate via NVC?
