RFE mistake...confussion

Hi i want to ask because I recieved an rfe saying my joint sponsor does not meet 125% of peverty level he is on single and no child so his household is 1 which means he makes more because after taxes he makes $27,672 and before tax he makes $28,333 they want proof of employment which i can give. I call the number and got to talk to an officer she told me that he needs to sponsor my husband too and my kid which would make a total household of 4 I said my husband and kid is USC and the only one applying is me, please help I am so confuse, the officer said his before taxes he should be good

Joint sponsor does not count US Citizen petitioner on the I-864.

A Joint sponsor only counts them self, any dependents, their spouse, any immigrants they may have sponsored before that are still immigrants, and the intending immigrant. they can choose to not sponsor any accompanying immigrants, but in that case would need another joint sponsor to cover the accompanying immigrant like a child.

Is child a US citizen? If so then would not be counted anyway.

Note US citizen petitioner needed to be primary sponsor and provide an I-864 too.

Thats what I was thinking too that officer I was talking on the phone is not very polite when I ask for her name she hang up, she said ur husband is the primary sponsor but dont make enough so the the joint need to sponsor him too and ur child but I said but they are not applying and both my husband and kid are us citizen, she said why dont u read the letter abd instruction abd I said I did over and over abd not once it says it has to sponsor the whole family only the alien applying
