Hey there you all!

I just wanted to share this with you and get some input.

We are about to file our AOS and first we had asked my husband's brother in law to be our sponsor, but he's so busy and keeps saying that his wife doens't have a chance to find all the paperwork we need

So, thinking about it, I came up with the idea that my husband could be the sponsor, now this is our current situation:

Last year my husband after moving to another State wasn't able to find a full time job and ended up taking a part time job and then at the end of the year got a full time job and makes enough to be the sponsor.

He was in training during the first month and it's been only a couple months with real paychecks.

Last year's income was only 15000 thousand.

So we called NVC and the operator said that we could give it a try, of course we are planning on getting a letter of employment.

Do you think that it's too risky? or should we wait for the sponsor? (that could take several weeks)

Thank you all!

Note "Husband" Spouse Petitioner MUST always be Primary sponsor, no matter what income level, even if unemployed. Can always use a joint sponsor as in brother in law.

No risk, if employer letter indicates job is permanent, not temp, and agreed salary is sufficient, this should work, along with copies of past 6 months pay stubs.

My husband got hired in December and was on training for a month, it's been only a couple of months with good paychecks. The other ones are low income from his last job, actually when he got his new job he quit the other one but it took almost 2 months for him to start working...
