Question regarding approval after interview

Hi all,

I just have a question wondering if anyone has some insight on. I had my interview at the consulate in Montreal last tuesday march 22 and was approved. im stil looking on the visa website daily and not seeing any tracking numbers. Im getting very anxious and worried that something might be wrong.

After they saying that we are approve do they just have to send our passport to get the actual visa printed in the passport and then sending it off via DHL? Or does our case go back for review for a final time and then goes off.

Im just worried that my case is getting further review and its taking them more time to get back to me. It just seems very odd that my interview took no longer then 10 mins before they saying im approved and asking very little questions like how we met and stuff like that.

The lady at the front desk told me to check the site after 3 days and there should be a tracking number. i wish she hadnt said that because all week i have been so excited and checking the site every hour.

is there a time frame that the tracking number would be posted? im pretty much checking first thing in the morning and everytime im near a computor during the day and before i sleep. driving me nuts.

Hope i can get some asurrance from some of the members.

Thanks

I responded to a similar post in the Canadian forum you made earlier in the week. It took a week for me to see the waybill number appear, and maybe even 8 days. You are right on track. Unless the CO told you that you required further documentation, there is more than likely no problems and it just takes a week or so.

I know it's tough, but be patient! The waybill number will appear. :)

Thank you, sorry im just so anxious for this as i have my life on hold for this package.

Everyone here has put their life on hold in some way or another for this process, so don't apologize. Feeling anxious is normal! Let me know if you get your waybill number today :)

It will happen soon!
