Port-au-Prince, Haiti Embassy

This question is for those who have gone through the Haiti embassy with the K-1 process. I have noticed that it seems that they are often requesting a dual interview. My FI is planning to pick up his medical results tomorrow and submit the packet, but I will not be able to go down until May. Would we be better off waiting to submit the packet for a couple weeks so I can also go to the interview or is it okay to go ahead and submit it and hope that they don't make us do the dual interview?

DONT WAIT FOR ANYTHING WITH THESE PPL. THEY EITHER WORK VERY FAST OR VERY SLOW. IVE NOTICED EVERYONE DOING THE K1 GETS THE DUAL INTERVIEW SO IF I WERE YOU I WOULD EXPECT IT.

Yeah, i wouldn't wait. Your interview date might come up in May at this point. I'm hoping they don't request dual for us, but if they do.. what can we do??

I hoping the best for everybody! My fiance is doing his medical exam today and getting everything together to take to the embassy or whoever he has to take it too. It's so nerve racking waiting and trying to be patient sucks!!

Don't want to get everyone alarmed! Me and at least one other person in the past month have passed the consular interview without having to have the dual. I think it has more to do with how your partner answers questions at the first interview. Practice your questions and answers so that there is no question. My fiance was extremely nervous, but felt that he passed because we practiced.
