hi vjer's i just applied for aos last week.. and today we received a letter from the dept of revenue that my husband's refund was garnished by his indebtedness with a collection agency.. would that affect my application? just a bit worried about it coz uscis might deny my application because of my husband's indebtedness..

march 9, 2011 - sent aos package to chicago lockbox

march 10, 2011-received by chicago lockbox

march 14, 2011- noa 1 date( I-765, I-131, I-485, I-130)

march 18, 2011- noa for biometrics appointment for april 8, 2011

april 8, 2011- biometric appointment

april 21, 2011- received interview letter. date may 23.

april 27, 2011- online status- card/document production :) :) :)

may 5, 2011- received employment authorization card! :)

may6, 2011- applied for ssn

may 12, 2011- ss card received in mail

may 23, 2011- interview -APPROVED! / card production

may 31, 2011- greencard received

As long as he makes or is above the poverty level 125% for the I-864 then its fine, the debt doesn't matter.
