Re-scheduling my interview.

I got packet 4 from the embassy, and they scheduled my interview at 8.00 AM on 8th April, 2011.

My fiance's mom agreed upon being our co-sponsor, but she doesn't have all the required documents. And so, now we don't have a co-sponsor. Needless to say I am really upset, but I have to reschedule my interview so I have some time to find a co-sponsor who would send us the financial documents.

I want some information about certain things:

1. I couldn't find a way to reschedule my interview. I have emailed the US VFS in New Delhi. Is this sufficient.

2. My interview is April 8th, when would they reschedule it now. (if any one has some experience at the delhi consulate). My i-129f expires on May 5th.

hi,I am sorry to hear about the condition u r in....it was so close for u. Anyways, U can call VFS Helpline at 0120-6611411 to reschedule ur interview.They will take ur request.However,with the limited time u have i really dont see u getting a rescheduled interview soon...it can take 3-6 months from what i have researched online.But it can be lesser too... I wish you luck in ur race against time to make it happen.Best of Luck
