I was wondering for all my forms and including the letter, I just typed out the date: ex. 09/2/2006, then just printed it out and used a pen to write the signature. Do you think this is okay? I was under the assumption that "sign & date" maybe means that you must sign & date with pen on every form/document. My fiance's G-325A form also did this and her letter.. We both just typed everything out and filled in the forms with our computers, then signed it using a pen after printing it out. Is this okay you think? Thankee.

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

Hehe, yes... I am slightly paranoid.

We all were when we filed... just wait until you have to put it in an envelope and send it off. Talk about separation anxiety....

 I am the same way, I went so far as print the 4 pages of the G325A forms on 4 colored papers like the government forms, Page 1 white, page2 pastel green, Page 3 pastel pink, and page 4 pastel blue. I also did the I-129F application on pastel pink with page one and 2 on the same sheet page 2 upside down on the reverse side "Head to Foot" Just like the government forms. And used a 2 hole punch and punched everything I sent at the to of the forms.

Anything to make the job easier for the case worker. ;)

OK a bit #######!

THIS is how VJ rumors get started..

** read in a few days: "I heard another VJ'er got approved because the forms were color coded. Better make sure all your forms are color coded from now on" And while you're at it, enclose a bar of chocolate to bribe the adjudicator. That'll get you down from 600 days to 436." :P

When typing or handwriting the dates, be sure to supply in the format asked for.

Ex: mm/dd/year= 09/02/2006.

While 99% of us know that 2=02, you would hate to get an RFE for not adding the zero in front of the 2. Be as accurate and as consistant as possible. The date could be used for a security check for a birth date, and if entered wrong, they would have to do it over. Don't leave things to chance.

August-December 2004---------Together my baby.

June 2005-----------Together again.

November 2005-----Together again.
