After NOA2

Anyone here ever wrote to a senator even after NOA2? My petition was approved one month ago, but I hate waiting so I wrote to a senator today. I've seen so many people on here recently getting their NOA2 in just a month or two. People say the process moves faster after NOA2, but I don't see it. It is still a ridiculously long process until the visa is actually given.

Do you mean you have already received your NOA2 but want to make the rest of the process go faster? I would think a senator couldn't be much help in the part of the process you're in now--the visa packet going to NVC and to the embassy in your fiance's country, being reviewed there, interview, and visa issuance. After that, when you are in the AOS process, a senator might be able to help hurry things along, but for now it is mostly the embassy you need to talk to.

actually i wrote to my congressman today about the time delay in my case. told him i made inquiry to the embassy by phones and emails and to no avail. ask them to contact the embassy on my behalf about an interview date since i submitted all my documents but have not heard a response. of course i omitted certain information so it made like the ebmassy is slow on response.

Hey Liemster,

How did you get your package 3 already?? I looked at your timeline and you got your NOA2 after mine. I hope they didn't loose it when they send it because the area where my fiance lives has no house numbers. None of the ones in that region does. Can't believe this ######. I haven't called the consulate yet, but which number do you use?? Isn't it an automated system or were you able to get a hold of someone?
