HI!

I have applied for AOS in Nov 2010 and will be going for an interview in less than two weeks. Anyone can share their recent interviews in the Los Angeles office?

My husband is a musician and get paid mostly in cash, we haven't got ready to file our 2010 tax yet and I'm afraid that the IO might ask for it. We submitted our 2009 tax return with our filing. Will this be a reason to get denied?

We have been married since Oct 2009 and have an 11 month old son.

Also , I just found out, I think I might have a tax lien on me, will this prevent me from getting my GC?

I am so nervous and excited at the same time. I really hope everything will go smoothly. I would like to be able to go back home soon, especially since I could not when my dad passed away last year :(

The 2010 taxes are not due until the 18th of April so you should be fine with 2009. Your husband gets paid in cash but he is still obligated to file taxes so he must have records of payments, right? It would be a good idea to bring those records with you in case the IO needs to see current income.

Do you have a tax lien for sure? You will need to sort that out regardless.

What Visa(if any) did you enter the US on?
