I had my Visa Interview yesterday and asked to be able to pick up my the next day as my husband needs surgery. When we went to pick it up, the lady had a strange look on her face and said oh this isn't good. I was born in Great Britain and they had my birth country as Canada. We had to wait a half hour or so, for them to change the birth country. I could not even imagine what a run around it would have been, if the Visa had been mailed to me that way. Had we been at the POE they said I probably would have been turned back. Very glad the woman noticed this right away and they were nice enough to have it corrected while we waited. They were very apologetic for making us wait, but to us it was well worth it.

That's a pretty big whooops on their part considering how many times you have to fill out the information on all the paperwork.

At least they are fixing it for you before there was any issue.

And congrats on the visa.
