Sooo... I got my K-1 visa today, my flights are all booked. I'm flying Birmingham - Dublin - Chicago. Apparently because I am going through Ireland I need to provide API (Advance Passenger Information). It's pretty straightforward- choice between US Passport Holder, Landed US Resident and Non-US Resident BUT the next step asks me to give my country of residence. Since I am travelling on a K-1 visa and moving to the US effectively indefinitely, would I put my country of residence as UK or US? Technically I am still a UK resident until the AOS, I guess. Anyone have any ideas on this? I'm going to call the airline tomorrow to confirm what I should put on there, but thought I'd try and get ahead of the game.

I would believe UK resident. K-1 is a Non-Resident visa with immigrations intent.

Also I believe you turn in immigrations packet in Ireland if connecting through Dublin or Shannan.
