Hi guys, I recently e-mailed the US Embassy in Rio and I found it really interesting to share the information I got from them. For those who are going through the K-1 process in Brazil and likewise me want to get the papers together prior to receiving the packet from the US Embassy, which we all know take a while to happen, those 2 links below have all the correct info and they said we can use them to go gathering the papers:

>> Medical examination: it is valid from 6 months up to 1 year depending on the doctor's diagnosis, what means that if you are all good it will be valid for 1 year.

>> Police certificates: valid for 1 year from the date you got it.

Hope you guys find this information useful! :)

Good luck for all of us!

* Love conquers all *
