NVC check list missing marriage and birth certificate

please help me out here ppl. i received a check list from NVC stating that they receive my DS230 however they are missing my marriage certificate and my spouse birth certificate. how is this possible when i send everything in 1 package and it was all stapled together? i also spoke to a supervisor at NVC and they said that they will look into it and to call back in 10-15 days. let me know if you had similar incidents and what did you do.

Send the documents again. And send them as soon as possible. I wouldn't wait 10-15 days.. We received a RFE that said they did not receive our photos with the DS230. I was so confused because I also packaged them all together. However, it turns out they were not missing they were the wrong size photos. Did you have those documents legalized in the DR? Did you send translations of the documents? I hope things work out for you. I am still waiting for them to acknowledge the correct set of photos we sent two weeks ago. Argh! I could kick myself for sending the wrong size! Good luck!

Another example of why I say get several certified copies of all the original documents. You never know when one will slip between a desk or get misplaced.
