Our I-129F package was rejected because we apparently sent them too much money (not sure how that happened).

The package was sent back with many forms duplicated and with a line of printed numbers running down the side of every page. I'm guessing they run each page through some sort of automated logging system and it prints this information on our application pages.

My question is:

When we resend the package, can we send the same papers back (that have been printed on, including duplicates) or do we send new papers?

I tried calling USCIS but the woman said that they can't give that information. She was being so annoying about it too, telling me to ask an attorney how to file.

I can tell you, our immigration attorney advised us that: Please note that the immigration filing fees will decrease after November 23, 2010 so we could definitely hold off on filing until then.

Not sure when you filed, but maybe that was the issue. It went from $455 to $340 (if I remember correctly).
