Go to what state you live in. Contact the Board of Nursing for that state and find out the requirments. Apply, sit for NCLEX, and become US Registered Nurse.

If thier (your state) requirments are too much, then find another state in that has easier requirments and apply there, and sit for you NCLEX. You can sit for NCLEX 6 days per week in USA, you can take it in any state you choose

Pass the NCLEX and endorse license to your state.

Easy process, and if you fail most states will let you take NCLEX as many times as you want until you pass.

If u live in a state that is part of the Compact States then you can only apply for NCLEX in the state that you live in. If you don't live in a compact state then you are free to apply to any states. Their requirements are on their websites. Use allnurses.com, they will help you in applying for NCLEX. Good Luck to you. My fiancee and I decided to have her take her NCLEX in the Philippines before we applied for K-1 visa. She applied in California and endorsed her license here in Texas. Good Luck :)
