Picking Up Visa In Manila

After doing a little searching on the topic I Just wanted to verify that they no longer allow for Visa pick up at the embassy after the interview, correct?

If so, is there any way that i can pick it up at the closest 2go location in manila?

My SO is from Cebu and she will be staying in Manila till its ready to be picked up. The only thing is we decided this after i set up her appointment and on the appointment letter they say they will send it to cebu 2go location.

will this be a problem? And does anyone know how long it takes to be able to pick up the Visa from the 2go in manila?

Hmmm, I need to know the answer to this, too lol. I didn't even realize you could select that when you schedule the interview...

like i said in the other post,i don't think this will be a problem because 2go will give a separate form upon visa approval at the embassy and i believe what you write there will be the one followed

My Journey:

We met through a study-abroad program in Shanghai, China in August of 2009

We got engaged March of 2010

I received my K1 VISA in 6 months (June-December 2010)

We were married 04/02/2011
I received my conditional 2-year greencard (AOS) in 2.5 months with no interview (April-June 2011)

Our son was born 02/03/2013

I received my masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology 04/17/2013

I received my 10-year greencard (ROC) in 3 months with no interview (March-June 2013)

My husband returned from deployment 06/20/2013

My naturalization journey took 4 months (April-August 2014)

I became a US citizen on 08/01/2014

Received passport in 3 weeks (regular processing)

anyone know how long it takes to pick up the Visa from 2go in manila after your visa is approved?

My SO's interview is on tuesday and im trying to figure out if we will have it in hand by friday if she picks it up from 2go, if so then she flys out saturday.

My Journey:

Curious, do you rememeber how long it took them to print your visa and send it to 2go ? i spoke to a 2go rep and they said once they get it from the embassy i can pick it up the next day in manila

Hmm yours sure took long, i was looking through some others and found "sheenaspapi" got theirs printed the next day and had their visa by the end of the week.

Thats kinda what im hoping for, if not then thats fine i will just role with the punches.

Still gonna have her ask at the embassy if they can, plus maybe i will call the next day to get a status.

Back to topic, from what I see from other timelines it looks like they usually get their visa after 6 days after the interview date. :) So we're crossing our fingers that we'll have ours next week on friday. ;)

10/13/2010 - @ 3:49 AM CT I RCVD an email from NVC for my Mom's DS-3032
