Hi Everybody

So, i am a US citizine, applied for I -130 for my husband in India. I got the NOA2 on November 23, 2010, and then today got through an NVC agent via phone and got the case number. She said there is nothing I can do in the meantime till i get correspondance from them. I have given them my email which she said would make the process a little more faster.

1. In the meantime, is there anything else I can do in terms of gathering documents etc. while we are waiting ?

2. I noticed on the NVC page that my husband would require police certificate from each place he stayed in for more than 6 months after the age of 16. Does he require it from all places he lived in India or just the current place? If he requires it from all places, it would mean he has to travel to Chennai, Kerala and Manipal. Please let me know.

3. My husband is visiting me end of this month in the US. Is there any paper work he can bring with him, so that we dont spend time mailing each other?

All your help is appreciated!!

Thanks so much!!
