My wife went for Interview on Dec 27, 2010. The Officer asked some question and ask for some documents. Finally Officer asked for Tax transcript and my Original divorce certificate which my wife didn't have, so they said your visa is pending and you have to provide this original documents.

My wife called me so I sent back both original docs. They told my wife to call at embassy when she receives this docs, so my wife called them on Jan 12th, 2010. They said they will ask officer what to do and give her call back in 3 business days.

Does this sounds like right process to follow or does she need to do anything else?

Please Help me here guys... Thanks a bunch in Advance...

yep sounds right for missing document. she got to wait until she hears back from consulate, I have heard of cases sometimes they would ask the applicant to bring the documents, but when the applicant contacts the consulate they are told consulate no longer needs the documents and applicant is approved.
