Please let me know what is meant by "partial" tax return; what does this consist of?

Thanks!

Can you put that question in some sort of context? Is it in a guideline, USCIS instructions, RFE?

Thanks for your reply; among the recommended documents that I have seen to include when compiling documentation to submit with the I751, I have seen partial tax returns for last 2 years.

I actually haven't noticed that in lists but I guess what I sent could be considered "partial" meaning not the whole thing. I have transcripts of two years of filing jointly. For Removal of Conditions I want to show we co-mingle our finances. Filing jointly is a way to do that. I only photocopied the first page of the tax transcript where it shows both our names and the filing status of "married filing jointly." The submission isn't to prove income, so I didn't think the whole tax return was important. I pretty much did the same with a selection of bank statements. I only copied the first page that showed them addressed to both our names as a joint account. Our statements also include a page of small copies of checks we write. I photocopied some of those pages to show we each write checks on that account. For example, some months I write the check for the yard guy and some months he does, so I thought that was actual evidence of joint finances and living together, whereas every page in the statement wasn't necessary.

I didn't read that anywhere official, but just wanted to stick to the basic evidence without a ton of extra papers in the application. I have no idea if that's good or not because we just applied, but it seemed logical in my mind.
