I-751 questions

We are hoping to mail our I-751 package out tomorrow but we have a couple of questions first.

I just noticed that the I-751 form says that it expires 12/31/10, so is it still okay for us to use that version of the form right now?

And also, will the fingerprint cards (form FD-258) be done during the biometrics appointment or is that something that needs to be sent in with the whole package now?

Thanks for any help you guys can give us!

Don't worry about the expiration date - their website says that they are accepting this rev of the application and until that changes, this form can be used.

As long as you are mailing the application in the US, then you do not need to worry about the fingerprint cards. They are for people who are outside the US. You will receive a biometrics appointment which you will have to go to and get fingerprinted there.

Make sure you are sending in the correct fees since they went up in November.

The application is now $505 and the biometrics is $85 for a total of $590

good luck on this segment of your journey!!!
