You mean ex, as in involving some sort of legal proceeding along the way to make it official, or do past cohabitations count?

Either way, she doesn't have a nickname for any of them yet.

I mean ex husband or wife, because with that "status"

there are often continuing legal entanglements, which

cause other stuff to happen.

Ex boyfriends or girlfriends usually have the sense to move on.

I said yes, but it's really not my ex so much specifically as it is his whole family.

I call them the Guido Family. I was the only non-Italian among a very large extended family. I don't really hold too much against them, but we never really "got" each other. ;)
