K-1 montreal timeline?

I see the CR1ers have a super organized thread tracking the timelines for their interviews.

Was wondering if the K-1ers have anything similar since I didnt seem to see anything.

Anyone willing to share their wait time stories?

I will be going through montreal and I'm getting a sinking feeling that I will be waiting a looong time based on things I've read so far.

Good morning Shorah,

We started a thread back when we were waiting for interview dates. We had called it 'Approved November Filers - The Wait for the Interview'. We kept track of our P3 being logged in and when we got our interview dates as well. After our interviews were done, we started a thread for our AOS. We're around 10 people keeping in touch.

Believe me, having people to support you (and vice versa) makes this process a lot easier to handle!

Maybe start a thread adding a specific month in it so you can track people with similar timelines as yours! I'm sure you're not the only one waiting on Montral

K-1s book their own interviews now. The process for montreal is really how fast you get your papers in to be able to book your own interview.

Yeah I read that but from what I understand when you go to book your interview the earliest available dates are at least 4 months away, I was just wondering if this was true. I'm trying to book a trip to visit my fiance while we are waiting so I was trying to get some idea.

Yea Montreal is pretty backlogged still.

Actually, the earliest interviews are in 3 weeks. That's not backlogged to me...

^ I was just about to ask about this very thing - is there a timeline or link that we can look at for K1 filers from their NOA2s to their Montreal interviews? It's a bit of a letdown to see some applicants are waiting nearly as long for their interviews as for the NOA2s.

When I first became eligible, the dates were for January. That was mid/late December. I think it was a fluke there were January dates as in November, dates available were in March. My medical isn't until Feb 15 so I had to wait until they got past those January ones. As soon as they did, the earliest was April. My guess is some people cancelled and some dates opened up. Getting an interview that soon at Montreal is generally unheard of!
