Hi,

I am writing on behalf of my friend.

She just received her interview letter for January 12th and she was setting up her account for the DHL service. She began setting it up and when it asks for the reason she choose "permanently immigrating to the US (NVC)" (can't remember the exact wording) is this correct? When she went to schedule and the first available date was March 22 2011...is this correct? What is this whole set up exactly for?

Help on this will be greatly appreciated. This is new to me. When I did my immigration stuff 5 years ago we got our visa the next day.

Thanks again...

On behalf of JenNiaz...

Yes putting permanent immigrant scheduled by NVC is correct, then she would fill out the personal information as well as pick a dhl location. when she sees the next available date she can log out and it should be saved. If she logs back in it should say her name,and passport number with "no scheduled date" underneath

Why do they have a date of March 22nd 2011 as the first available date? What does that mean?

It means that would be the next available date if she had to schedule it via the website..fortunately she was scheduled by NVC

OK, I've read the threads, followed the steps... but at no point have I been asked to pick a DHL location once I've set up an account and logged in. I get to the point where I'm asked to select an interview date and time and click continue without any reference to choosing a DHL pickup location. Ummmm... anyone else had this happen?

Posted (edited)

Me too .

Before our interview in October we Registered and picked our Interview date and as well as picked the closest DHL Location.

That location was confirmed in the letter of confirmation from the Embassy about our interview

Then we got interviewed.

We were not approved as the embassy required me to submit another document.

In order to mail documents to Consulate,

I need a Reference No. or Applicant ID as per CSC to bring it to DHL when I mailed my documents.

I logged in to:http://usvisa-info.com

After I logged in, this is what I see:

Applicant Information

You have not entered your personal information.

Appointment Information

You currently have no appointment scheduled.

What would you like to do?

* Schedule Appointment

* Add Family Members

I was looking for the Applicant ID on the as per instruction that:

Applicant ID: This number is displayed on the Applicant Summary page

of CSC’s website at http://usvisa-info.com once the applicant logs in.

I dont have the Applicant ID.

Well, still I went to DHL and mailed my docs and isntead I put my Case Number in the Reference Number.

I have no choice I have to send these requirements ASAP.

I tracked it and they got it.

However, I still need to find out why I did not have an Application ID once my VISA is approved.

Please advice if anybody knows the workaround on this.

GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Ugh.... you do not get a applicant ID, just a Reference ID. You should have got the reference ID the day you signed up for dhl I believe.
