Citizens Birth Certificate

Hey everyone.

We're just adding in the last bits before filing and noticed it says to send both sides of the BC. But it only has one side? Im pretty sure its the long form one as it has the citizens parents places of birth on ??

Any help much appreciated..

if you look at the back of the BC at the very bottom there is some blurb regarding that it can't be copied etc

Every state's is different. Mine had a little blurb like that on the back, but it was at the top. Yours might be completely blank on the back. If it is, you don't really need to photocopy the back, but if it does have anything at all on the back, then copy it.

On my birth certificate the back is blank and to not confuse USCIS I photocopied the back of it and wrote on it 'back of BC' Yup seems dumb but I wanted all bases covered.. At the interview they did ask for copies of my BC again and I gave them the same thing.. LOL so dum but whatever they ask for it they get it

mine had nothing on the back. I went and had it scanned at office warehouse so the state seal can be seen.

Some countries and states DO have stuff on the back of BC's.. and therefore to "blanket" all of them, they just ask for EVERYONE to photocopy front and back. Just write on the photocopy of the blank page "back of birth certificate" and initial it.
