Hi!

Did we ever figure out if you should be at the Montreal Consulate first thing in the AM or show up for your scheduled interview time (ours says 9 am). We want to be in and out as soon as possible, but we don't want to show up at 6:30, stand in line for 1 hour, and then be told we have to come back at 9 (especially since it's FREEZING here!).

Please let me know your recent experiences!

Thanks!

We showed up at 7:30 for our 8:30 interview and were done and out of the embassy by 9AM. We were the third in line. They let us in a few minutes after we arrived.

Good luck!

Thanks everyone!

We did a test-run today and talked to the security guards. They confirmed that it's still first come first serve. We're planning to be there at 7:00ish!

Good luck tomorrow!

We showed up at 6:30 and waited in the cold at least 40 minutes before anyone else arrived. There were 3 groups in line when doors opened at 7:30. It wouldn't have made any difference if we were 1st or 3rd in that line!

How'd it go today CanAmBride??
