Okay after receiving a NOID, I provided USCIS with additional evidence and on November 17th I received a I-797C stating that the case had been reaffirmed and was now being forwarded to the NVC for action. I am fairly sure I know what this means,(They are standing by their decision and eventually the case will make its way back to the Consulate in Addis Ababa Ethiopia), however has anyone been through this, do you know about how long this will take, will it go to the NVC up in New England first or will it go directly overseas, will I get another letter from NVC, basically Im just trying to be proactive and have my head on a swivel for anything and everything that may happen next. If anyone has dealt directly with the Consulate in Addis regarding this your imput would be greatly appreciated and if not your input would still be greatly appreciated. I want to go to Addis for the next interview so I can support wifey, she had a rough time of it the first time, which was largely my fault, and I just want to know when and what days I should take leave from work and when to buy a plane ticket. Thanks my visa journey friends and may we all continue to run the race!!
