Electronic processing...does it help?

I am a USC w/ a Canadian wife going thru the CR1 process. I just got my I-130 petition approved recently and I am thinking about doing the electronic processing as there is some potential benefit of shaving off some waiting time according to the VJ-Wiki page (been seeing on VJ that the waiting time @ Montreal is ~5 months?!).

Can anybody share their experience and/or thoughts with respect to this program? I am trying to decide if this will somehow create additional headaches or it'll have real benefits...

Montreal is the only place that does CR-1/IR-1 and generally Montreal is backed up. EP will get you through the NVC faster but you will still end up waiting for an interview date.

 The wait for an interview in Montreal is still very long. Here's the link to the EP thread from the Canada forum if you are interested. Good luck!
