Im getting ready to file my K1 and Part C question 2 asks about child abuse and neglect. I was charged with child endangerment because my kids were in the car when I got slapped with reckless driving for speeding. So my question is, is child abuse and neglect the same as child endangerment and do I need to answer yes to this question?

  • 3 years later...

hello good day to you... i was browsing the internet about k1 visa relating to child endangerment... anyways, i am from the philippines and my fiancee is from the US he had this child endangerment like you many years ago. he was charged of this because he left his ex-gf child on the crib and he went out from the house but the child was with his 2 aunts at that time when the police officers charged my fiancee. he explained it to the police officers but they didnt listen. so he ended in the jail and convicted for it...

my question are these:

1. is child endangerment the same with child abuse??

2. how did you managed getting your application approved?

3. when you sent your i-129form, did you sent your police record together with the i-129form??

hope to hear from you the soonest...thanks and God bless :)
