I'm wondering if anyone has ever requested to have their K1 visa interview date moved? Mine is for the 23rd but I won't be here to go, when I sent back my packet 3, they asked what date I would like but then its nowhere near it. I'm not sure what to do, is it bad to ask them to move it, will they move it. My medical appt isn't until December so I won't have that either. I'm not sure what to do. Will it look bad if I ask for a later date? I've been waiting so long for this and I don't want to do anything to screw it up.

Which consulate are you dealing with? Vancouver or Montreal?

Member Rosey tried to reschedule her interview date due to her delivering. It took her over 6 months to get a new date

Vancouver is a little less backed-up. You can always ask but no guarentee that you'll get a date close to what you want

Good luck

Its Vancouver.

What date do you have? When we get ours maybe we can switch. We just got our NOA1 approved. Let me know I'd be glad to try to help.
