New born usc kid - India first visa process

Hi,

Am a US Citizen and my wife is Indian citizen. Our baby was born 2 months back and we got the CRBA birt certificate and US Passport from US Consulate, Hyderabad, India. Now, next process is to obtain the first visa from

Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi.

1. What kind of documents they need at Ministry of home affairs at New Delhi ?

2. What is the next process ? Can we apply for OCI for the kid after getting the 1 year visa from FRRO ( after step 1 )

3. Can I send my father-in-law to Ministry of home affairs, New Delhi or is it must for the one of the paretns to show up ? Any contact number to reach this office ? Not able to find any number on the net.

4. Do we need any pictures of the baby ?
