My husband and I got married almost 2 weeks ago. We are about to file the AOS package. I had a couple of questions. Does he need to fill out a new G325A with all the information thats pertaining to him being in the US? Or can we use the same information we used to file for the K-1 visa?

Had some question about proving our relationship if and when our interivew comes.

We live in an apartment but my brother is the co-signer as i dont make enough to be a sole owner on teh apartment, so we cant really prove a rent contract

What else can we use as proof other than bank accounts and a marriage certificate?

I got our energy bill but how can you put your energy bill for two names? Isn't it a single person? I am confused.

please help.

Any information will help.

I am totally lost, i know there are guides out there, but i would rather hve people comments and advice.

Thank you very much

Congratulations on your recent marriage! Yes, I believe he would need another G-325A form, with all his updated information.

Is it not possible to still add your name to your brother's lease? A rental lease is not the only proof you can submit.

Aside from bank accounts and marriage certificate, you can include joint credit card statements, utilities (phone, electric, water, internet, garbage), car titles, memberships (Costco, Sam's Club, gym). Basically, USCIS wants to see pooling of financial resources. Typically, the more documents you provide that have both your names on it, the stronger your case will be.

Call the power company and request that you add your spouse to the bill. I did this with all my utilities and had no problems.
