NVC Response?!

After my wife called the NVC and got to speak to a live operator - she gave them our email address' and was told they were still entering our case into the system - hence not being given an IIN as yet.

So, anyway, I emailed Loto's DS3032 to the NVC shortly after, and then got this response late last night.

Dear Sir/Madam:

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

The NVC is unable to add agentcontact information to the case record at this time. Please continue to notify the NVC if your address changes.

This petition is now eligible for further processing. The petitioner, beneficiary, and/or attorney of record will receive further instructions regarding the processing of this petition.

Any documents received at the National Visa Center that have not been requested will not be reviewed and may be returned to you. Please do not send any documents until they are requested.

Would it be worth emailing the ds3032 again later at some point - today / tomorrow?

Has anyone any idea when the IIN will be obtainable?

We put in an expedite request - so have to send in the supporting documents and letter as the NVC have requested them, BEFORE we mail the AOS or IV package.

Im all set to send my documents to my wife.

I think its safe to say our case at NVC level will not be breaking any records for time, but hopefully the expedite will enable a December interview if possible, due to the nature of our case. Probably Dec. being a bit too optimistic but one never knows.

Incidentally, if an expedite is approved at NVC - would everything be mailed straight to the Embassy rather than continue processing at the NVC. Im sure I read this happens but cannot be sure?

Will do Loto - do you know if the beneficary is allowed to call the NVC - my wifes too ill today, so I said Id try and see if they have an IIN yet?

Also re our expedite - do you think its worth sending EVERYTHING ie 864 + 864a and the IV package together with the expedite letters - or just mail the expedite letters for now?

Im wondering if its approved again, they will do everything in London and 'skip' the NVC? Any ideas Loto?

As always I appreciate your help and any other suggestions

Richi, I think your best bet would be pay AOS and IV fee when it is ready, print the barcode sheet and sent AOS and IV package to NVC along with the expedite docs.

Also, send an expedite letter right now (email to that tip) to speed up the accpetance of the DS-3032 and to invoice AOS and IV fee.

These things will be done within 2 weeks time.

Then push the entire NVC case file to the Consulate.
