We only got our NOA2 for a K1 Visa on the 19th this month, so I know we still have to clear NVC and get package 3 and send it back and all that. But I was just wondering once Montreal gets the P3 roughly how long with the new online scheduling, will it take till I get my interview, as with this whole process I know they are all just estimates, but just to give me a rough idea, thanks for any help or info :D

They are schelduling January now. I would guess March if your fortunate. NVC and Montreal have been slow, but maybe a miracle will happen! All the best!

Does this mean that there will be no interviews scheduled for December now ?

Well I know that I got my P3 in middle of June and then didn't get an interview until October 22nd. After you get the P3 you will have to fill out some forms and send back to Montreal then you will wait for P4 which tells you to schedule your interview and I didn't get my P4 until September. So they say the average waiting time from the point of getting your P3 and sending back the forms is 4-6 months and that was about right in my case. Good luck to you, hope this helps.

According to Trailmix's spreadsheet and the last person I spoke to at the NVC (the nice one who actually said she hoped we get an interview date soon), they do schedule some for December. Here's hoping they finish off the June case completes!

If you check out my sig, you can see that we got our NOA2 on June 14th; It took another 2 weeks to clear NVC and have Montreal send packet 3 out. We sent packet 3 back the following day and we just had our interview on October 18th--this was within a few days of the first available date.

For K-1's, packet 4 is no longer an assigned interview date, but rather the receipt of packet 4 allows you to log into their new online scheduling system. If you want to estimate based on our recent timeline, it was 126 days between our NOA2 and our interview--this would put your interview in late February. Hope this helps! Good luck!

From the timelines that I've seen, the wait times average about 5 months or so. Basically, July approvals will get letters in November to schedule for December, August approvals will get letters in December to schedule for January and so forth.

At least that's the pattern I'm seeing.

When you get your P3 the letter will state to expect an interview in 4-6 months... when we applied it took about a month from NOA2 to P3 in hand.

I'm glad you finally got you NOA2!

Here's hoping they will schedule as many as possible for December !! I am wondering too, with the massive slow down of I-130 approvals after March this year, if it will give Montreal a chance to catch up. Good luck to you !!
