The beneficiaries had their interview on 9/29/10, they were told that the Petitioner was short $300 on the I864 in meeting the Income Guidelines. We then submitted additional I864 which they received on 10/6/10. I called the US Embassy Manila and was told that on 10/15/10, they needed additional Income since they are now just counting my husband and my income and they are disregarding my Petitioner's income and in which case, we are short $430.00 counting the household size (which they are also including my parents/petitioners as part of the household), they need another AOS. Unfortunately, on the Joint Sponsor AOS, I did not include line #20b (on the Tax Returns) which is a taxable income and my tax preparer said that I should be adding Line 7 and line 20 for the total Income.

How do I make such corrections now that they have already sent a letter to the beneficiaries asking for another AOS?[/b] It is just frustrating how they would not combine both (Petitioners and Joint Sponsors) Income. And if at all not possible to do that, at least, I would know how to amend the figures on the the 2009 Tax Return Income which would have qualified us with our guidelines if I have included the SSDI.

Extremely needing your help please?

Talked to US Embassy today. The lady I spoke with was wonderful enough in pulling out our file to be reviewed by the Consular Officer again. In the meantime, we have asked a relative for an I864 and he is willing to help out. Wish us luck! And my deepest gratitude to D.C. from US Embassy Manila.
