Dear fellows:

I am presently confused as when my ordeal will end. I came into the US on a K-1 visa six months ago, married to my fiancee who is a student nurse. Since our marriage, I have not been able to file for adjustment of status as we do not know who will support us. I thought about about waiting till she graduates and start working...which will be in the next four years. Four years is a long time and it seems as if I am waiting endlessly. The frustration is too much.

Please people, is there anyone who can help me out of this mess?

Thanks as I wait to hear from you.

The troubled Ken.

Your wife is your primary sponsor and will have to fill out the I-864. Her family or friends can be a co-sponsor and fill out the I-864 form as well. Maybe even ask her program advisor for help?
