Hello everyone,

My Husband arrived on a K1 Visa and we have filed for AOS, but we are at the point of getting another medical done. I was under the impression that if you enter into the US on a K1 Visa you wouldn't have to take another Medical Exam again. We also received a letter stating that his physical had expired but he had his medical done on 30 March 10 how can that be. Not sure what is going on. Can someone please tell my if this is true. I'm so confused and upset at this point.

Yes, it is possible, if your husband has some chronic illnesses and under the treatment. Then, the medical done valid that 6 months instead one year.
