Now that I have sent my packet and received the NOA1, what documents can I prepare for the next step? I know I have a long way to go, I just never stop thinking about this and would like to fill my time getting everything in order to make the process smoother down the road. I know I need I-134 filled out... but what else?

the suporting docs for the I-134 pay stubs, bank statements, tax returns, letter from employer, updated letter of intent, original birth certificate of beneficiary....... good luck :thumbs:

Updated letter of intent? I provided a copy of her birth certificate as well as a translated copy, do you still think I will need one down the road? I front-loaded the hell out of my application. Not sure if that made a difference, but I got my NOA1 in 4 days! :dance:

yes it is recommended that you have an updated letter of intent addressed to the embassy this time instead of to the service center...btw I didnt send a letter of intent to the service center and I was nervous and thought I would get an RFE for the but I didnt I had smooth sailing. I did make sure though to include a letter of intent to the embassy :) I front loaded my pkt too it was 11lbs when I first sent it. Also even though you sent the copy of birth certificate you will need the original at the inteview.

Eleven pounds?! Mine was only 3.1 Lbs, and I thought I front-loaded mine! The only worry that I have is that my fiance doesn't have a Province so I left that blank and I forgot to write my name on the back of my passport style photo. Other than that, I should be ok. Still worried though.
