Hi All,

Finally, the day has almost arrived and our daughter's interview is in London tomorrow.

In the letter we got setting up the interview, they list everything she needs to bring.

So tomorrow she is bringing:

Herself

The appointment letter (addressed to me as I'm the third party)

Her passport

The courier fee (debit card)

The photographs for the visa

The letter from the doctor confirming a missing vaccination has been given.

And that's it ... hopefully they won't want to see photos of he with me and with my wife (I can get these to her but she has to get them printed off, etc) and it's late in the UK now.

So, can anyone think of anything else she needs to bring, based on their own experience?

Thanks.

Ronan

u are making a big big mistake why are u taking this risk they will must want to see picture with u by time she grew with u or not thats what called a solid evidence of relation with family i wont wish that but based on my experience if u dont provide picture to show the relation between father and child she may ask for it... if its late let it be late let her print those picture why to make it wrong when u all waited for this day for long time

Ok,

Just to be on the safe side I've sent her a few pictures she can print onto regular paper. But really, they don't have any idea what I look like so it could be my daughter with anyone.

I've sent 6 photos from the last 5 years ... hopefully that will suffice. Thanks for your response.

Yaaa ... she is approved BUT ...

She has to send in a copy of my Green card along with her passport and the passport photos (they didn't take either of those items off her).

So, I am the biological father - on the birth certificate - and it's my USC wife that is petitioning ing our daughter to come live with us. Yet they said they want to see my GC to prove that I'm "not an illegal alien" ... even thought hey are the ones who issued my K1 all those years ago. You'd think a little inter department cross checking would be in order ... but that's not for now ...

The interview was straightforward. No additional info sought, I provided photos but none asked for. They just gave her a phone number to call when she got a copy of my GC in order for the courier to pick it the copy and her passport and photos up from her.

So, thankfully it went well ... I would have preferred it was over as my daughter is a little scatter-brained at times but how and ever ...

Onwards and upwards ...
