Did not get vaccinated for k1

Hello VJer,

Have you ever came thru this situation where your physician did not give you shots and said that you will need shots only for AOS so get vaccine in the US.

My medical was in Delhi on Aug 21st and he did not give me any shots.

I am totally confused about that what he will mention on DS3025 form regarding vaccine record.Should I get required shots before getting my medical paper from doctor and get vaccine record mentioned on form DS3025?

If you come in on a K-1 the shots must be done before you file for AOS. So you can get them done in India if you like or you can have them done once you come over to the US but you need to complete them and have them transcribed by a civil surgeon in order to apply for AOS.

This is probably best answered in your specific Consulate or Regional forum. In Canada, if you don't have the completed vaccination requirements you don't get the visa. End of discussion. In other countries they allow you to wait until the AOS process. Best to check with others who have gone through your specific Consulate/Embassy.
