Hi all - I just (finally) got my interview date (YAY!!) and I notice it says that the visa will be ready for pickup at the DHL location in three business days. Has anyone had any experience with this new system yet? I want to book a flight for my SO to come up to move me down, and would like sooner rather than later. Not sure I should book for a few days later, or be safe and wait a couple of weeks. YAY that Montréal is finally moving on our visas!!

I dont think anyone will know until Oct. as those are the first interviews based on the new system....BUT DHL is way better than Canada Post! I'm banking that I will have mine by Christmas hopefully way before so I dont stress too much(int. Dec 6) so that I can move around New Years....)

Dhl is also the way your i-129f's get from nvc to the consulate. i'm happy they are makign some of these changes for the new people.

It is good to hear of some changes the Montreal consulate is going through. It gives me a little hope that by the time my case gets there, Montreal won't be such a nightmare. That might just be wishful thinking, though.
