Have the medical requirements changed with the new k1 process that was rolled out recently? My wife us trying to help a friend through the process and it sounds like she got an exam from a us civil surgeon. I can't believe that would have changed.

Thanks!

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

I am talking about the Montreal consulate. I know they changed it so you schedule your own interview and you have to pick up your documents at dhl instead of having them xpresspost'd.

I'm wondering if they also changed it so you could have your medical exam done in us by a civil surgeon instead if a panel physician in Canada.

all your info is there. from what i can see all the requirements are still the same.

Can the medical examination take place in the United States if the applicant is pursuing a visa application abroad while physically present in the United States? Visa medical examinations may not be conducted in the United States. An alien pursuing a visa application abroad while physically present in the United States must have the medical examination conducted by a panel physician approved by the visa issuing U.S. Embassy/Consulate.
