You know, we are near the point of an interview date. I have to clear up an EASY RFE before our case goes to Manila. I had asked them how soon do interviews go out after they receive the case at the Embassy. The polite lady told me that at the end the month the Embassy tells NVC how many interviews they can schedule. This may not tie into your question but a little helpfulness :) I hope you get one soon! Take care!

oh thanks for your quick reply...u know every little inputs are indeed helpful not just to me but to others likewise...im f2a and basically nvc gives us the schedule first before forwarding it to the embassy so we dont have the choice but to wait lols... in my understanding it is an advantage to you coz you on your own can do the scheduling of your interview as soon as NVC forwards your case to embassy. hope we get ours the soonest...goodluck to us. be God guides us always

The OP is under different visa category, F2A. In their case it's the NVC who gives them the schedule.

Applicants of K1/K2 and K3/K4 have to call the Embassy and make the appointment themselves.

Oh, I see. My husband's category is also F2a, for clarification, does that mean that I have to wait for NVC to schedule the interview for him?
