do i need to send back 2nd rfe?

I was originally sent 2 RFEs last month (for K-3 IMBRA) and I sent one back with the USCIS recieving it on 7/24/06. This was confirmed on my online status which was:

"On July 24, 2006, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case. You can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. Follow the the link below for current processing dates. "

It was "touched" again on 7/26/06, but nothing else after that. I'm seeing so people having their K-3s approved so quickly (within a few days) after the RFE but mine seems to be "stuck" because its been about 3 weeks.......is it because I need to send back the 2nd RFE????

Both RFEs were exactly the same so I didn't bother sending the duplicate back. Is this the problem?

Why take a chance? The cost of a stamp seems to be worth a measure of confidence that you have done all you that you can....

Hi there, i dont think it will be a problem if u dont send the duplicate rfe. my husband never sent it back yet we get approval. God bless

duplicate rfe- July 14,2006 ( we never sent back the duplicate rfe)

touched-august 3, 2006

approved- august 3,2006

recive letter of approval in mail- august 14, 2006
