Yea man All goooooooooooood things! You're fine.. ya dad is ya dad... they just need more evidence (RFE). All these unnecessaries are the steps being taken by US Immigration to prevent Immigration Fraud.

Enjoy....!

Just typed a lengthy response and lost it

Alisha - I understand your frustration and disgust - regardless of anything, your Dad is your Dad - But the embassy will often require DNA, especially if the father was added after the fact, or if the parents were not married. You need to take a deep breath, and get back in contact with the embassy to get the list of DNA centers that they sanction - one of the yardies just dealt with this for her step daughter, and got a quote of $750 -

So today i went for my interview,at my interview i got a blue slip for a new police record again, this will be my 3rd Police record to those people, also they need me to do a DNA to prove that my father is really my dad, i feel so bad, am 27yrs old, and my dad or any one in my family have ever doubt me and these people doubt my relationship with my dad,i don't have a problem with my dad wanting a DNA, but its not my dad who needed it, its a stranger all because off wanting to to live as a family with my dad and sisters, i don't see whats wrong with someone having a child when they were 16yrs it happens all the time, my mom laugh so hard about it... but i don't see the joke in it... i told my daddy they i will do the DNA but i dont feel like leaving my country again i rather stay here with my people.... he said i break his heart to say that.. but honestly that's how i feel... anyways does anyone know how to get the DNA test done.. i didn't ask the white man who interview me nothing i just walk out when he said they not sure he is really my dad. and today atleast while i was there only one was granted all get blue slips but only me for DNA...

What was the date on the last police record? It has been notated many times in the Jamaican Forum that the US/JA embassy is requiring new police records dated after June 14th (or some date near that) did you just not see that? or, was yours dated after and they still requested another? Just asking because we just got our 2nd police record and are now waiting for an interview... About the other issue....Girl, go get the DNA ...as frustrating as it feels you are almost there! Keep your head up and jump through this last hoop! Good luck.

If you don't mind me asking....what was the reason for needing a new one? The last thing that I was told from NVC was it just had to be dated after that June 2010 date....did they say why you need another one?

That is absolutely crazy! If you find out a definite answer, can you come back and let us know? It could help others who are going through the process.
