SMALL TEAR ON PAPER INSIDE VISA PACKET

I have already received my passport and visa packet yesterday via Air21. The visa packet / envelope is intact and has no tears, but I am worried about the 1cm tear on the first paper inside the visa packet (not the summary page outside). Should I contact the embassy and get a replacement? I have not attempted to open the packet. It was just like that as it arrived.

Thank you so much.

was the Visa Packet sealed when you received it? If it was, it is not supposed to be opened. If it wasn't sealed, I wouldn't worry about it.

Hello, that is normal to have a small tear in the packet as long as the yellow package is not.You can tear a little bit to get the passport inside just only the first plastic but be careful when you get tear. And check your passport if their is no discrepancy. Good Luck..
