My wife came to the U.S. on an F1 student visa, and during her first months living here, she was staying at a local Y.M.C.A. After a while she left the Y and start to "couch surf" on friends houses, staying in different places, sometimes less than 3 months. So, while filling the G-325 form, we got confused about how to fill the "applicant's residence in the last five years" part, because since she doesn't have any proof she was staying in those places, we're afraid that if they actually check and realize she never rented any of those places herself [once again, she was staying with friends] they'll think we lied about her living situation before we moved in together. Or it would just complicate things during an interview? What is the best way to fill something like this out? Any amount of help would be great :)

Thanks everyone :D

I would just be honest especially dealing with immigration. Also, you and her will be on the same page but make sure there is no gaps of time between residences. From what I have understood, USCIS is a background check on the petitioner for the most part.
